This just grows on you, doesn’t it?

Say hello to the potted plant that doesn’t require any TLC or green fingers, just a blunt pencil! This is a vintage sealed novelty pencil sharpener in the shape of a potted cactus. The sharpener is in the pot and the cactus is the eraser — how creative!

This was made in Hong Kong, most probably in the 1970s or earlier.

As this is a very vintage product, please expect signs of wear and tear including scratches, smudges, dirt marks, age spots, discolouration and so on. The display card is also creased and torn in some areas. Please look at all photos carefully.

Card measures about 19cm long; sharpener measures about 12cm tall.
