While Sanrio stationery were super popular in the 1980s and 1990s, they were a little too expensive for our pocket money funds in those days especially if they were made in Japan.

Then there was the more affordable Taiwan brand known as Shinn Jee which produced many notebooks, greeting cards and other stationery.

This is a vintage Shinn Jee pocket planner book featuring Tweety Bird and is most likely from the 1990s or earlier. It opens up to reveal a notepad, a heart-shaped mirror (it cannot be removed), a comb and a mini pen (I didn’t test it but I doubt the ink works anymore).

This is a brand new unused product but as it is very vintage, please expect signs of wear and tear including scratches, smudges, dirt marks, discolouration and so on. Please look at all photos carefully.
